About MCMC

Miners' Colfax Medical Center is a 24-hour service agency serving a regional population of approximately 12,000 and staffs about 190 employees.

There are currently three family practice physicians, two nurse practitioners, one general surgeon, one OB/GYN, three internists, one radiologist, one pathologist, one nurse anesthetist, and one ophthalmologist who are credentialed to practice at the hospital. Consulting staff include specialists from the University of New Mexico specializing in pulmonary and oncology. Cardiologists from the New Mexico Heart Clinic in Albuquerque conduct their clinics at the Acute Care facility. As a state agency, MCMC is under the State Personnel System and there is a benefit plan, personnel policies, routine orientations, and physical exams that an employee commits to as part of the employment package.
