AARP Hearing Center
Welcome to the Millicent Rogers Museum and our new website. With one of the finest collections of Native American jewelry, Maria Martinez pottery, textiles and Spanish devotional artwork in New Mexico, our museum celebrates over fifty years of preserving and interpreting the art and diverse cultural heritage of the American Southwest.
As the Internet has created a global community, it is perhaps more important than ever for museums to evolve beyond simply being time capsules of inanimate objects in glass cases. Instead, we believe our primary goal is to be educators and to explain the history and cultural context of our spectacular collections and their influence and relevance today. We look forward to the future and the increasingly important role that we serve as an educational institution to our local community and the the world. Please come and visit the next time you are in the Taos area.
