Miller Farm

Gordon and Julie Miller want to share their piece of heaven with you on the Miller Farm.  The pastoral setting is framed by the Cascade Mountains, the tree-lined horizon, and rolling hills.  The vintage fruit stand setting takes you back to a peaceful time where neighbors gathered to visit and buy farm fresh produce at the country store.

Years ago we wanted to grow produce using sustainable and natural methods.  So vegetable beds are fed naturally from compost and cover crops without the use of herbicides.  Only organic sprays are used on the remainder of our produce. Bird boxes that attract swallows hang from the perimeter of the crop area.  These boxes are filled each season with our natural “pesticide” swallows that greedily capture and eat most flying insects that cross their paths.
