Midcoast Symphony Orchestra

Our Mission

The mission of the Midcoast Symphony is to provide a source of live classical music to the communities of mid-coast and central Maine, and to provide an outlet for the talents of our volunteer musicians. In order to make our concerts available to as large a segment of the community as possible, our tickets are reasonably priced, and everyone 21 and under is admitted free.

The orchestra's Guest Artists Series is also an important part of our mission. By inviting some of New England's finest musicians to appear with the orchestra as soloists or guest conductors, we believe that the concert experience is significantly enhanced for our audience and our orchestra members.
