Mid Columbia Library District - Othello Branch

History:

Othello Library has a 50 year history. It has grown from a few shelves that Newcomers Club volunteers set up in Lutacaga Elementary School in 1954 to larger spaces in two retail sites and in the Othello City Hall before moving into its present location in 1991. It joined Mid Columbia Library in 1995. Mid Columbia Library, the City and Adams County Library District #1 refurbished the former bank building in 2003 with fresh paint, new shelving, carpet and furniture while the addition of wireless and DSL services.
