On October 22, 2006 the Conservancy officially opened the doors to a lobby museum dedicated to the Merritt Parkway. MPC’s Guide is mounted on a wall in a 10 foot long version highlighting attractions and points of interest along the Parkway. A 30 minute video presentation describing the early challenges of building the Merritt, bridge photography by Michael Zenreich, as well as various archives are on display.

Across the street from the museum on Ryders Lane is the Sikorsky Estuary Walk. The bicycle/pedestrian path features interpretive signage on the river, flora and fauna. Beautiful river views can be found on the bridge spanning the Housatonic River between Stratford and Milford.

Hours:
The museum is open Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.
