About Us:

The Merrimac Senior Center has been in existence since 1974. The Center is primarily for the seniors of our town, however, we are ready to accommodate any seniors who are in need of assistance.

There are many functions that we are ready to assist you with, such as nice Hot Lunches every Monday through Thursday noon. The price for each meal is $2.50. A daily meal menu is generally available just before the 1st of the coming month. Free Flu and Pneumonia shots are available in the fall of every year and are administered by our public health and outreach nurses.

Mission Statement :

To provide services designed to improve the quality of life of elders by assisting them to remain as physically mobile, mentally alert and as physically active as possible.

The Council on Aging advocates for the older adults, manages the resources needed to develop services, provides education for seniors and their families regarding choices in their care and community services available to them."
