The Meridian Township Farmers Market is one of the most popular destinations for Township residents and others from the surrounding area," said LuAnn Maisner, Meridian Township's Director of Parks and Recreation. "It is an opportunity for people to buy local, freshly grown produce. It also gives customers a chance to talk directly with the farmers responsible for the produce.

*The Farmers' Market will feature Michigan strawberries, beans, tomatoes, peaches, and blueberries in June and apples, winter squash, and pumpkins in the fall. Fresh bouquets of flowers are available throughout the season.A majority of the products sold at the market are grown either locally or within the state.
