Meridian Dog Park

About Us:

Donated to the City for park purposes by Fidelity Financial Corporation in 1995. This park is located along the north bank of the Arkansas River.

Dog owners can now enjoy the anxiously awaited Meridian Dog Park located within Meridian Park. Features include drinking fountains (complete with a low one for Fido), park benches, doggy doo bags and time out areas. Separated into three sections, two of the three areas will be open at any given time, designated by the size of dog. Large dogs over 25 lbs. may romp in one section, while small dogs under 25 lbs. will have their own area. The kiosk located at the entrance outlines rules and regulations for use. While you are there, check out the eco-friendly parking lot, which uses a permeable paving system enabling storm water to soak in and not drain into the storm sewer system. It is an attractive solution to preventing stormwater pollution.
