About:
Meert Tree Farm started in Oakville by Domien Meert and his father in 1963 on 6 acres. Initially the farm was only advertised by word of mouth. Domien, his wife Eileen, eventually outgrew that location, and they expanded to 150 acres in Festus in 1980. In 2003, Meerts closed the Oakville farm and moved the entire operation to the Festus farm.
Meert Tree Farm offers both Cut Your Own Christmas Tree and Pick Your Own Pumpkin Patch. We are open Thursday through Sunday starting the last weekend in September and are open 7 days a week from the day after Thanksgiving to December 23rd. We have tractor rides to the fields on weekends, a corn maze at pumpkin time and a kids train ride at Christmas time (weekends only) at no cost to our customers. Check out our Christmas store that opens at pumpkin time. We make all of our wreaths and centerpieces!
