About the House

The Mead-Van Duyne House is located on the same property as the Van Riper-Hopper House Museum. Visitors to the home can step farther back in Wayne’s history to pre-Revolutionary War times, circa 1740. Two massive fireplaces flank this cut stone Dutch colonial house, which is now listed on the National Historic Register.
