McNew Star M Christmas Tree Plantation

To celebrate our nation's traditional family holiday, Christmas, we open the day after THANKSGIVING from 9:00 A.M. until dark. Group events can be scheduled in October, November and December. The first weekend of December Star M will feature "The Salvation Army's Christmas Food Bank" Bring canned foods to donate to the Salvation Army and receive your choice of a free bag of popcorn, a cold soda, or ice cream cone.

Weekends, a free fragrant cup of hot cider awaits you in the Gift shop. Buy State of Texas Ornaments, Jingle Bell wreaths, candle lanterns, and other seasonal gifts. Picnic; play games; take a wheeled train ride through Wolf Wallow Forest. Have a picture taken on a sleigh ride. Enjoy a hay ride down Red Fox Run. Take a moment at the "Chapel on the Hill" to ponder "THE REASON FOR THE SEASON". Choose and cut a tree in the fields or select a freshly harvested fir tree displayed in a stand and water in the barn.
