Mission Statement:
The McComb Railroad Museum was opened in 2003 after three years of hard work by volunteers to prepare the depot and the display cases and memorabilia that were initially available to the public. The purpose of the Museum, a 501 (c) 3 charitable organization, is to preserve the railroad history of Southwest Mississippi through educational means and to promote economic development through heritage tourism. The goal is to restore the Depot building, protect existing exhibits, acquire additional exhibits and artifacts, properly catalog and display all collections and maintain a schedule to provide public access.
