About Us:

McClellan High School has a rich history of being an exceptional school.   Senator John L. McClellan officially dedicated the school, and McClellan can boast of many successes such as being the Model Technology High School for the LRSD, a Blue Ribbon school, and twice named the Top Business Education Program in the United States. McClellan's basketball program has won seven conference titles, finished as state champion runner-up twice and attended 18 consecutive State Tournaments. McClellan is also home to the Arkansas winner of the Wendy's High School Heisman Award.

The academic house at McClellan helps to focus the students toward careers and job readiness. In the 9th grade, students share the same small team of teachers (9th grade teachers have common prep periods) who nurture them and teach them how to succeed in high school.  In Business Finance, and Engineering, students are offered a variety of courses in financial planning, securities, banking, graphics design software, web design and computer aided design systems to produce and analyze products. EAST computer lab is offered for students who wish to explore advanced studies in a computer-related area. A school-wide computer network of 500+ computers connects students and teachers with each other and with the world.
