Mayo High School Planetarium

Most of us tend just to look at the sky to see if it's raining. We forget that the sky begins beneath our feet. This land was given a beautiful Dakota Indian name - Minnesota, "Land of the Water that reflects the Sky." The earth beneath you reminds you to look up, for the sky is not the limit, it is only the beginning.

Inquiring minds are in your classrooms and in your clubs. It is the curiosity of our species that distinguishes humans from other life forms that share this planet with us. Our planetarium staff looks forward to cultivating the cuiosity of these students about their grand universe. Let our planetarium serve as a gymnasium for their minds.
