Mathews Christmas Trees and Fresh Wreaths

About Us:

We are a second and third generation, father and son partnership, Christmas tree farm located outside Liberty, west-central Illinois. We are using land, unfit for standard row crops such as corn and beans, to plant pine trees for a choose-and-cut Christmas tree farm.

Greg and Linda Mathews reside on the property where the Christmas trees are growing east if Liberty, IL in Adams County. Brett currently lives in Georgetown, TX due to his assignment to Fort Hood with the U.S. Army. Lindsay, the wreath and grave blanket artist, lives in Liberty as well.

We use trees unfit to be Christmas trees to make wreaths and swags. This has allowed us to use trees that would have been simply cut down and thrown in a ditch by other Christmas tree farmers.
