The Marion Campus Library is committed to providing quality information resources to the students, faculty, and staff of The Ohio State University at Marion and The Marion Technical College in order to support the learning, research and service activities of the campus community.

To achieve this mission, the following objectives will be pursued:

Carry forward the mission of Ohio State University Libraries to the Marion Campus Library.

Provide Marion Campus Library users access to information in all formats, including via the OSU Libraries and OhioLINK libraries.

Offer programs of instruction to enhance information-seeking skills, in coordination with classroom instructors.

Continue development of a local collection which serves the teaching, research and information needs of the Marion Campus community.

Provide access to Marion Campus Library resources for residents of the local area.

Enact policies and procedures to facilitate use of library resources.

Provide assistance with knowledgeable service-oriented personnel adequately trained to meet patron information needs.
