The Maricopa County Fair, Inc is a private non-profit 501(c)(3) organization operated for the betterment of the community. Though we are the recognized "County Fair" for Maricopa County, the fair receives no funding directly from the county.
The fair membership of the Maricopa County Fair is comprised of forty five elected commissioners and two ex officio members. The fair is governed by a nineteen member Board of Directors with five officers including, President, President Elect, Treasurer, Secretary and Past President which comprise the Executive Committee. Members of the Board of Director volunteer their time and effort.
The day to day operations of the corporation are managed by a contracted management team that serve the role of Executive Director. The fair relies heavily on volunteers from the community to fulfil it's mission.
