Open: Year Round

About Us:

The name Marburg Estate derives from the Hamlet of Marburg, which has rested beneath the waters of Lake Marburg since 1967 when Codorus State Park was created. The hamlet was named for a city in Central Germany known as Marburg an der Lahn or Marburg on the Lahn river. It was founded in 1527 by Philip of Hesse, a famous German Monarch. The land around the city is part of the beautiful Rhine Valley, which is known for some of the finest German wine.
