The Mallory Kountze Planetarium located in the heart of the Durham Science Center, on the UNO campus, is an exciting place to go for star shows, lectures and possible rooftop observing! Travel through our solar system and galaxy, off to other galaxies far beyond. Experience our Public Shows or schedule your own Private Shows!

The Mallory Kountze Planetarium has been recently renovated with new projection equipment, automation computers, a digital sound processor, seating and carpeting. Students from schools throughout Eastern Nebraska and Western Iowa visit the planetarium regularly for star shows. The department also hosts a NASA Educator's Resource Center.
