Madison Dental Initiative

Originally the Salvation Army Thursday Night Dental Clinic, Madison Dental Initiative was founded in May 2009. MDI grew out of a desire by Dr. Matthew Kutz, Dr. Laura Tills, and State Public Health Dental Hygienist Lisa Bell to meet the oral health needs of the area homeless population. Since its opening, the clinic has provided emergency and preventative care for thousands of people in need in the Madison area. Thanks to a great group of volunteers and a dedicated staff, MDI has established itself as one of area’s strongest health-centric non-profit organizations.
