Branch History

The Macomb's Bridge Branch of The New York Public Library opened in 1955. The branch is located in the Harlem River Houses at 152nd Street and Adam Clayton Powell, Jr. Boulevard. Although the smallest of the branch libraries, Macomb's Bridge has book collections for all ages and a growing African American experience collection. The one-floor branch is partially accessible to persons using wheelchairs.
