The goals of the Macomb Junior/Senior High School Library Media curriculum are to ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information. These goals are accomplished by:

Helping students acquire an interest in and enjoyment of reading

Acquiring and maintaining a balanced collection of media center resources that meets the needs of the users

Teaching the students the necessary skills to be efficient and effective information users

Supporting the Macomb Junior/Senior High School curriculum and the teachers' classroom programs by providing necessary materials and appropriate guidance and instruction to students
