Lyme Free Library

MISSION

Lyme Free Library is committed to providing free library services to all members of our community. It is our goal to meet the needs of individuals of all ages and income levels. We continue to strive to improve our book collections and computer lab to enable our patrons to obtain the information needed to enhance their lives. Lyme Free Library also serves as a cultural center to our community. In addition to library services, we provide many free programs throughout the year. Programs include: summer reading programs for children in grades K-6, a weekly preschool story hour, computer classes, book talk group, art & antique auction, clambake, art sale, book sale and historical programs. We work with area preschools and Lyme Central School to provide quality educational programs to the children of The Town of Lyme. Our “Books For Children” program continues to collect new children’s books that are delivered by the Chaumont Food Pantry during the holidays.
