Loving Hands Clinic

148 Maple Grove Road
Lapeer, MI 48446

HISTORY:

The Loving Hands Clinic started with a vision to provide health care to uninsured local residents as a Christian outreach and service ministry. In July of 2004 a small trailer, donated by the Capac Boy Scouts carried medical supplies back and forth to five local participating churches.

As the Clinic grew and changed, improvements in systems were made, the vision further defined, and Loving Hands Clinic became a member of the Free Clinics of Michigan Organization. The Clinic has received support from Love INC, local churches, community foundations, the United Way, local service organizations, grants, and individual donations. With the support of the community, equipment was purchased, and a working medical clinic was born.

Loving Hands Clinic now occupies a professional space offered by Maple Grove Church. The clinic facility has a waiting area, reception area, three exam rooms, counseling area, and an office space for the medical staff.
