Longfellow Days

Brunswick, ME 04011

On the cusp of Maine’s Bicentennial, we’re looking back 100 years instead. This lets us pause in tribute to two Maine-born artists active in the 1920s:  filmmaker John Ford and poet Edna St. Vincent Millay. We’ll also recall Bowdoin College’s 1925 literary tribute to 1825 graduates, including Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.

Longfellow Days is an annual program of the Brunswick Downtown Association, with support from Bowdoin College, The Brunswick Inn, Nathaniel Davis Fund, Eveningstar Cinema, Maine Humanities Council, Alfred M. Senter Fund, and Union Street Bakery. All programs are free of charge.
