About Us:

The Long Center for the Performing Arts is a 1,190-seat venue owned by the City of Lafayette and managed by the Board of Directors of the not-for-profit Long Center, Inc.. Originally constructed in 1921 as the Mars Theater, the Long Center has played host to many famous performers including Al Jolson, Rudy Keeler, Bob Hope, The Marx Brothers, Ethel Merman and Will Rogers.
