Lompoc Barkin Park

History 

The park land was provided by the City of Lompoc and the city helps maintain the park by furnishing trash cans, water, sprinkler maintenance and other 'structural' needs. They also mow and weed within the fenced areas, as well as outside the fence.  

All other materials and costs have to be funded entirely by donations. The Barkin Park Dog Park Committee, a group of community volunteers, oversees park development and assists the city in maintaining the Barkin Park Dog Park.
