Welcome to Lindenhurst High School, home of the Bulldogs! At Lindenhurst High School we truly believe that "all students can learn." We believe that every student in our high school has a unique contribution to make to our school and community while working toward their own individual fulfillment. Lindenhurst High School continues to offer one of the most comprehensive and diverse curricula on Long Island. Our high school has a long and rich tradition of tremendous school spirit and outstanding pride. This particular school year brings special challenges as we continue to implement New York's new learning standards, while preparing to help all our students achieve higher standards and pass tougher state examinations. Lindenhurst High School offers the necessary resources and opportunity for every school citizen to excel in academic and extra-curricular endeavors.

Our students proudly boast of the nationally recognized and awarded Honor Society, a Student Council with the largest executive and student membership on Long Island - which not only leads the high schools in Suffolk County, but also throughout New York State. We also boast of a school musical of professional caliber, a school newspaper which recently won awards given by Newsday, and an award winning Marching Band. We also have a Marine Corps JROTC Program, and an active Science research course. Our outstanding school spirit is evidenced not only by student participation but demonstrated through such events as Homecoming, PEP Rallies, Safe Halloween, and other events throughout the year. All of these outstanding programs, as well as our long rich tradition of outstanding intramural as well as interscholastic athletic programs, give our students pride and the belief that they are the envy of all other high schools in Suffolk County.

The final ingredient to all of this is a supportive and active community. We believe we have created the model for preparing our young people to fully participate in the world as capable and confident adults. Once again, welcome to Lindenhurst High School, home of the Bulldogs as well as the home of tomorrow's leaders!Lindenhurst High School
