About Us:

The Lincoln Museum is on the National Register of Historic Places and includes 12 authenticated scenes from Lincoln’s life. On the second level are exhibits, memorabilia, and the Lincoln Days Art Collection.

Founded in 1989, the museum began as—and remains—a community-supported, non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of Abraham Lincoln’s legacy.

The Museum is located on the town square overlooking a statue plaza featuring works from the 1909 Lincoln centennial celebration as well as more-recent bicentennial activities.

A.A. Weinmann’s stately bronze statue of President Lincoln from 1909 faces a kid-friendly statue designed by Daub-Firmin-Hendrickson portraying Lincoln as a boy.
