About Us:

Our vineyard has a blend of sedimentary soils dominated by the Willakenzie series. Willakenzie soils have an excellent reputation for producing high quality wine grapes. The site also contains Wellsdale-Sitton, Windy Gap and Bellpine/Rickreall soils. The vineyard is farmed using sustainable practices with vines trained on a vertical trellis system. Vine rows are oriented north/south to capture the best sun exposure. The plantings are on rolling Southwesterly facing slopes. The vineyard elevations range from 400 to 500 foot. The vines are spaced 4 foot by 7 foot for a total of 1,550 plants per acre. The vineyard is not irrigated and planted on grafted root stock.
