The Lexington Farmers' Market, as we are known to our customers, has developed into a five day per week market during the season. Our traditional outdoor season is mid-April until late November, but we operate YEAR ROUND at the 5/3 Bank Pavilion in Cheapside Park.
We currently have more than 75 members. Many of these farmers only come to the market during the season for their specialties, such as sweet corn or tomatoes, but others come year round with products such as meat, honey, and eggs or value added products like jams, breads, and sauces.
Established in 1975 as the Farm and Garden Market Cooperative Association Better Known As The Lexington Farmers' Market is a cooperative run by a Board of Directors elected by the membership.
