About Us:
Lesley Heller Workspace opened on the Lower East Side in 2010 with a unique program of concurrent solo and guest curated exhibitions in two separate spaces within the gallery. The gallery primarily highlights the work of emerging and mid career artists.
The gallery acts as a forum for exploring fundamental ideas, issues and concerns in contemporary art, and as a launching point for a range of artists. The flexibility of the guest-curated program facilitates a vibrant cross-generational dialogue among collectors, curators, artists and critics.
Aiming to further engage the art viewing public, the gallery hosts public openings, poetry readings, artist lectures, and performances.
