About Us:

we are a small family-owned vineyard in the Russian River Valley appellation, located to the west of Sebastopol. This is an area of premium Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes -- our focus. Making premium wine starts with growing premium grapes. We personally look after each vine, tailoring it toward our vision of a bottle of wine we can truly be proud to share.

In the past, we owned two vineyards, including a 10-acre vineyard ("Bravo Toro") off of Occidental Road. Over the course of several years, our grapes have gone into award winning wines at Chasseur Wines, Acacia Vineyard, Arista Winery, and Envolve Winery where we have been a vineyard designate Pinot Noir for several vintages, as well as our own Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Merlot. The Lennox Vineyard designate for Envolve received a 91 from Wine Spectator in September 2015. In 2015, we sold the vineyard to John Balletto, a fine grower with long roots in west Sonoma County.

We continue now with our Ferguson Road vineyard. This property is located in the south-west corner of Russian River Valley, known as "Green Valley". It is densely planted with multiple clones on a slope facing southwards over the valley that holds the Duttons' Mill Station vineyard. Our winery began with the 2008 vintage. We aim to make very extraordinary hand-crafted wine from fruit grown in a manner that accentuates the bright red fruit of this cool climate. We do not have plans for a tasting room but we are always glad to make new wine-enthusiastic friends.
