Course Details:
Leaning Tree features water hazards on 17 holes, so players are advised to brush up on Rule 26 from The Rules of Golf to save strokes and enhance their games. Leaning Tree's country setting has few bunkers, but the water hazards more than make up for it being a challenge.
"You have to drive the ball straight from the tee or you'll find the woods or a watery grave," says head professional Keith Scott. Still, golfers appreciate the premium on accuracy Leaning Tree demands. The 18-hole par 72 course is tough and challenging, yet it remains a favorite with golfers of all levels and outing and event managers look like heroes when they book their outings at Leaning Tree, too.
One of the greatest things about Leaning Tree's layout is the way the course winds it way through the native hardwoods and pines. There's wildlife aplenty at Leaning Tree and with nature all around you, when it's not challenging you with its need for accuracy, it’s taking you on a tour of the country.
