A round at The Landings Golf Club begins on the Trestle Course and finishes on the Bluff course with the signature hole #14.  A third nine,  Creek, is no longer open for play but has become a great place for Statham’s Landing’s residents to walk and jog.

The Trestle takes its name from the wooden bridge crossing the lake on #6. Among the popular holes on this nine is #4, a long and tight par-5 that measures seemingly never ending 632 yards from the back tees and 451 from the most forward. A lateral water hazard extends the length of the hole on the left side with an out of bounds the entire hole on the right. No. 4 is a true 3 shot par-5 with a slight dogleg to the right. A slight fade off the tee will put you in good position. Use the bank on the right to help shape your second shot.  Don’t ease up after this hole... #5 is a long, straight par-4 (450 yards from the back tees and 310 from the forward). Try to avoid the three fairway bunkers on the right. It is almost impossible to reach the green from them. Hole #14 on the Bluff has been called “the most feared hole in middle Georgia.” This is also the hole that gave the Bluff nine its name. Your shot from an elevated tee drops 80 feet into a fairway with a steep, wooded embankment on the left, out-of-bounds right and a lake at the bottom of the hill that comes into play for the long hitters. Use the slope on the right to work your tee shot back into the fairway. A perfect drive will leave you a 150 to 175 yard second shot completely over water to the green. Do not miss the green left or short.
