Lakewood Country Club was designed by William Bell in 1933 and is located next to the Long Beach Airport, easily accessible from the 605, 405 and 5 freeways. With an abundance of new sand bunkers and several par 3’s that play well over 200 yards, this 18 hole, 7,033-yard championship course was voted Los Angeles County Course of the Year in 2005 and is currently a finalist for the honor in 2012.
