Mission:

The mission of the LakeshoreMuseumCenter is to preserve and interpret through exhibits, education, and programs the natural and cultural history of Muskegon County.

Vision:

Our Vision is to become an integral part of the educational and cultural lives of Muskegon County and West Michigan, and a major historical destination in the State of Michigan.

About Us:

The Lakeshore Museum Center houses our natural and cultural history exhibits.  It is comprised of multiple sites and buildings including the Hackley & Hume Historic Site, the Fire Barn Museum, the Scolnik House of the Depression Era, the Archives, and our Museum Store at three locations, as well as Michigan’s Heritage Park at Hilt’s Landing in Whitehall.
