MISSION STATEMENT :

Hughes’ great wish was that this library, which he loved, should one day have a public space devoted to works of Adirondack artists. This gallery is the fulfillment of that wish. We invite the public to visit and experience the wide range of talented artists and artisans who now show at the Gallery on a regular basis. We are a group of over one dozen regional weavers, painters, and crafts people who create and produce our own work. Our unique location on Mirror Lake is a lovely backdrop for our series of shows, which will bring the visitor close to nature, the primary influence and inspiration for the artist/artisan on hand who is demonstrating, and selling his work.
