About Us:
The Lake Geneva Symphony Orchestra is dedicated to involving people of diverse ages, talents, and backgrounds in performing and enjoying great music. The orchestra has performed regularly for ten seasons in Lake Geneva, Williams Bay, Elkhorn, and Delavan, Wisconsin, and adds Lake Villa, Illinois, to its list of venues this season.
The Lake Geneva Symphony Orchestra is an independent, nonprofit community arts organization, founded and governed by its musicians. The ensemble is a truly "community" orchestra, comprised of volunteer musicians who share a dedication to great music and giving their very best for their audiences. Many of these players come from within Walworth County, while others travel from as far as Madison, Kenosha, and Janesville, Wisconsin, and Aurora, Illinois. The Lake Geneva Symphony Orchestra is also supported by the efforts of the non-musician volunteers who are members of the Friends of the Lake Geneva Symphony Orchestra..
