Unfortunately, health care is a necessity that some people cannot afford. Often, those who don't have insurance are part of the working poor, holding several jobs just to feed the family, but making too much money to qualify for Medicaid benefits. Others are recently unemployed and cannot make insurance premium payments.
This is why Lake County Free Clinic exists, to address the unmet health care needs of the residents of our community by providing quality medical and dental care. LCFC has provided care to those in need for more than 40 years thanks to the generosity of our funders and the incredible dedication of our volunteers.
We provide our services free of charge, serving people who are uninsured, underinsured, or otherwise unable to access health care. We are proud to be a provider of exceptional care to those unable to access services elsewhere, especially now, when health care is in the spotlight and insurance becomes out of reach for more and more.
