About Us:

Lake Bluff Brewing Co's origin sounds a lot like other brewery's origin stories: a couple of guys brewing beer in their garage. Rodd Specketer and David Burns initially brought a batch of homebrews to Hoptacular (slightly bending the truth) declaring that Lake Bluff Brewing Co was an established brewery in the North Shore. The beers recieved such acclaim that Rodd and Dave had no choice but to go forth and open the brew pub. Since opening in 2010 Lake Bluff Brewing Co has remained true to its mission statement while gaining local and international fame.
