Kindred Hospital - South Florida Ft. Lauderdale

Kindred Hospital South Florida Ft. Lauderdale is a 70-bed, JCAHO-accredited, Medicare and Medicaid-certified, long-term acute care facility. We provide care for medically complex patients 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The primary market area is the Broward, Palm Beach, Dade, and Treasure Coast region, although patients are referred from outside the area on occasion. Kindred Hospital South Florida Ft. Lauderdale has two remote facilities: Kindred Hospital South Florida Coral Gables and Kindred Hospital South Florida Hollywood.

We work closely with our referring facilities to assure that patients referred to our care are accommodated efficiently and effectively. Medically complex patients are typically referred from intensive care units, medical-surgical units of short-term acute care facilities and nursing homes, as well as physicians’ offices.
