Kill Creek Park, opened in 2001, the park is easily accessible, and yet secluded. The park is located in western Johnson County between De Soto and Olathe.
Nestled within the park's beautiful natural setting are four picnic shelters, a swimming beach, a marina, and over 12 miles of hiking, mountain bike and equestrian trails. The park also includes one and one half miles of paved, shared use trails for walking, running and bicycling.
Located adjacent to Kill Creek Park, the TimberRidge Adventure Center includes a welcome center, large picnic shelter, climbing tower and challenge course for business meetings and retreats, supervised team-building exercises, and District-sponsored youth camps and interpretive programs.
