Open Year Round
Founded in 1989 by Mr. Carl Key, Keyways Vineyard & Winery was one of the original wineries established in Temecula Wine Country. Keyways stands as a leader in producing outstanding wines throughout the Valley for almost 30 years. It is loved for its charming ambiance, wonderful tasting opportunities, great social get-togethers, and delectable wines.
Keyways' beautiful building and grounds are reminiscent of an early California mission, complete with vineyards and horses grazing in a nearby corral. Guests are greeted warmly in the romantic Temecula tasting room and invited to enjoy a leisurely tasting at the long bar or bistro table, or to take a glass of wine into the adjacent lounge and relax by the fireplace.
For a unique Keyways experience, guests plan ahead and reserve a spot on a Winemaking Tasting Tour. This fascinating two and a half hours experience covers every step of the winemaking process from vineyard to glass. Under the guidance of a Keyways wine specialist, participants learn about the art of blending, wine tasting, food pairing, and much more, all while sampling at least a dozen Keyways wines. The Temecula winery offers several other tastings, tours, lectures, classes, barrel samplings, blending, and food pairing experiences, all designed to make each visit to Keyways distinct and memorable.
On weekends, wine tourists and locals alike converge in the Keyways tasting room for the evening Happy Hour and live music. There are also frequent festive afternoon events held on the inviting Keyways Vineyards lawn, which provides a charming setting for concerts, picnics, private events, and weddings. With several indoor and outdoor venues that can host customized parties of up to 300 guests. Our Estate Homes can be used as a vacation rental for small groups seeking a private retreat. Keyways also offers accommodations in two other local homes with spectacular views.
