The Kent County YMCA plays a vital role in the positive development of youth and families in the Kent County area of Rhode Island. Located on 117 acres at 900 Centerville Road in Warwick, our YMCA primarily serves the communities of Warwick, West Warwick, Coventry and East Greenwich. Since our founding in 1947, the Kent County YMCA has existed for only one purpose, to serve the needs of our community. As our community changes, so do our programs.
Our diverse offerings of memberships, programs, child care and camps provide something for everyone! As a membership organization, we work to develop long-term relationships with the people we serve. We promote volunteerism to support our programs, formulate policy and evaluate our YMCA.
Our YMCA welcomes people of all ages, incomes, abilities, religions and ethnic backgrounds. Our Financial Assistance Campaign assures that no one will be turned away due to an inability to pay for our programs.
You can feel great about being a member of the Kent County YMCA, knowing you are involved in an organization that cares greatly for the health and well-being of the community we serve and that is committed, through its four core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility, to building strong kids, strong families and strong communities.
