- With his victory at The Memorial Tournament in 2008, Kenny joined Tiger Woods as the only player to win Jack Nicklaus’ tournament three times
- Kenny was the #1 Ball Striker on the PGA Tour in 2005.
-In 2002, Kenny received the prestigious Charles Bartlett Award for his continuing charitable contributions to the community.
-Kenny had 8 consecutive top 10 finishes in 2003, including 3 wins, as well as 3 top 10 finishes in the Majors (T3- U.S Open, T8- British Open, T10- PGA Championship)
-Kenny has shot a 59 in competitive professional golf.
-Kenny is a member of the Western Kentucky University Hall of Fame.
-In 2009, Kenny was awarded the Payne Stewart Award in recognition of his respect for the traditions of the game and his commitment to charitable giving.
Personal Interests :
- Kenny has added golf course design to his resume with the construction of Country Creek G.C. in his hometown of Franklin, Kentucky.
-Kenny owns, races and works on a variety of race cars.
-Kenny and his wife, Sandy, are proud parents of 3 children, Lesslye, Justin and Lindsey
