Kansas Land Trust partners with landowners, communities and other conservation organizations to protect our State’s most precious resources by conserving lands of ecological, agricultural, scenic, historical and cultural significance in Kansas.

Preserving natural and agricultural lands, unique historical places and wide-open spaces assures that Kansans today and for generations to come can enjoy and appreciate clean air and water, unique wildlife habitat, food and sustenance across the globe, our State’s unique history and recreational opportunities — forever.

To date, KLT has worked with willing landowners to preserve more than 38,000 acres across the State, with many more projects in the works.  Preserving these special places is vital to maintaining the environmental and economic well-being of all Kansans.  Please help us to continue this critical work.

With your help, KLT is conserving some beautiful places, some of which are open for you to enjoy hiking, hunting, fishing and simply being outdoors!  Find out more about the unique lands that KLT is preserving at “conservation easements”.
