About
Jewish Folk Craft Guild Inc is a multi disciplinary nonprofit organization dedicated to presenting and preserving quality visual and media arts programs reflective of Brooklyn's Jewish heritage. Guild was formed in 1999 by artists and artisans living in Brooklyn. Jewish Folk Craft Guild offers a full season of exhibitions, studio tours, education events and public programs, open to the public each year.Â
Our Mission
We believe that the best way is to let let the art speak for itself. Since 2000 year, the guild ran dozen of exhibition presenting hundreds of works in various media. These included traditional wood carving, precious and semi-precious metals and stones, paintings, sculptures, stained glass, seashell art works and embroidery. Our artists are expressing themselves in new media such as plastics, photography and computer graphics.
