Jefferson Reaves, Sr. Health Center is a focal point for healthcare services in Overtown and Miami-Dade communities. It is committed to the dignity, social well-being and health of the community and the patients who are served at the center. The health center is the home of the University of Miami run Family Medicine Residency Training Program. The center offers comprehensive primary care services and, through the participation in the Jackson Health System, facilitates referrals to Jackson Memorial Hospital for specialized services. At the Jefferson Reaves center, staff provides care and treatment in three different languages: English, Spanish and Creole.
